With over 35 years of home improvement and new home building, it only makes sense that an easy transition would be to help people view their new home purchase as a positive endeavor and not a scary one. I have physically preformed all aspects of new home construction (foundations, framing, electrical, plumbing, drywall and roofing) as well as repairing older homes and building additions. The knowledge I have attained gives me the ability to discern between minor issues and major concerns. I know how things are supposed to be done, and what may- or may not - be acceptable.
My job is not to scare away potential home buyers, but to allow them to purchase with knowledge and information that comes with experience.
I am a graduate of American Home Inspectors Training Institute (AHIT)which gave me specialize training of exactly what a potential homeowner is wanting to learn about their upcoming purchase.
I follow the National Association of Home Inspector's (NAHI) standards of practice and code of ethics.
Recently licensed in Indiana for Home Inspecting as I started this service in 2014.
Pricing is as follows:
Basic slab home less than 2000 finished sq. ft. $300
Basic home less than 2000 finished sq. ft. with a basement $ 300
Less than 2500sf $ 350
Less than 2500sf $ 350
Less than 3000sf $ 400
Over 3000sf will be priced accordingly.
If there is a crawl space, there is a $50 add on.
Termite and pest inspections done by Black Diamond, Locally $50, out of the area may be more.
